An engineer by training, Cyrille Jeancolas is a Ph.D. candidate at the École supérieure de physique et de chimie industrielles de la ville de Paris (ESPCI Paris - PSL) and at the Laboratoire d'anthropologie sociale of the Collège de France. He studies the question of the origins of life by bringing together biochemical and epistemological approaches. He experimentally analyzes catalytic RNA networks with Darwinian properties; and he studies from an anthropological perspective the reciprocal influences between ways of considering life and research on its origins.
