Leopoldo Iribarren is an Associate Professor (Maître de conférences) of Philosophy and Classics at the École des hautes études en sciences sociales, Paris. He has held research fellowships from Harvard (Centre for Hellenic Studies), the European Commission (Marie Sklodowska-Curie Fellowship) and Leiden University. He is the author of a monograph on the functions of technological analogies in Greek epic poetry and Pre-Socratic philosophy. His primary research interests are in the philosophy of technology, both ancient and modern.
